Mark J. Daniel
Vice-President, Human Resources
Mark Daniel was appointed as Vice-President, Human Resources in March 2000. He joined Vale Inco in 1996 as the Director, Quality and Organizational Development. Prior to joining Vale Inco, Dr. Daniel had a 15-year career with the Conference Board of Canada where he benchmarked management practices in some of the most successful companies in North America, Europe and Japan.
Early in his career, Dr. Daniel worked as an Economist for the Bank of Canada and a number of other federal departments.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
